Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Rejectory, a free tool for tracking your job applications. By using it, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Rejectory is

Rejectory helps you record and organise the jobs you apply to, along with the resume and cover letter you sent. It stores everything in a place you choose, whether that is a folder on your device, your browser, or your own Google Drive. It has no account system, and no server that holds your data.

Provided as is

Rejectory is offered free of charge and as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose. You use it at your own discretion and risk.

Your data and backups

Your data belongs to you and lives in your chosen storage. Because we keep no copy, we cannot recover anything that is lost, for example if you clear your browser, delete a folder, or lose access to your Google account. Export a backup regularly so you always have a copy you control.

Your responsibilities

• Use Rejectory only for lawful purposes, and for your own job search.
• Keep your device, browser and Google account secure, since that is where your data sits.
• Make sure you have the right to store any documents or information you add.

Third-party services

If you connect Google Drive, you are also subject to the Google Terms of Service when using it. Rejectory only uses the limited drive.file permission described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

Rejectory is a personal project that may change, pause, or be discontinued at any time without notice. Because the app runs in your browser and your data is yours, you keep your data even if the hosted site goes away, as long as you have a backup or access to your storage.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Rejectory, including loss of data. The app is a convenience, not a guaranteed system of record.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms, which will always carry the date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
